چکیده

increased production of intestinal ALP and the peritoneal dialysis technique, but because the presence of intestinal ALP has also been reported in hemodialysis patients and in patients with advanced liver cirrhosis, there may be other explanations as well. For example, competition for clearance by the asialoglycoprotein receptor of the liver between asialylated intestinal ALP and asialoglycoproteins can lead to increased serum concentrations of intestinal ALP (5 ). Whether this is the case in peritoneal dialysis patients remains to be investigated.

Birth of a live fetus in twin pregnancy with hydatidiform mole and co-existent a live fetus: case report

Background: Twin pregnancy consist a healthy fetus, and hydatidium molar pregnancy is unusual and very rare. Its incidence is in about 1,22,000 to 1,100,000 of all pregnancies. This type of pregnancy is commonly associated with several obstetric complications requiring early termination of pregnancy. Managing a twin mole pregnancy with normal and live fetuses is controversial, although this unu...

Complete hydatidiform mole in twin pregnancy: differentiation from partial mole with interphase cytogenetic and DNA cytometric analyses on paraffin embedded tissues.

Six cases of hydatidiform mole associated with normal chorionic villi and a normal embryo/fetus (in five cases) were investigated with interphase cytogenetic and DNA cytometric analyses for diagnostic purposes. DNA probes specific for the pericentromeric regions of chromosomes 1 and X and for the long arm of chromosome Y were used. In four cases a dizygotic twin pregnancy could be proven. In th...

Dizygotic Twin Pregnancy With a Complete Hydatidiform Mole and a Coexisting Viable Fetus

Coexistence of a viable fetus with a hydatidiform mole is a rare condition and the diagnosis is very important because of the risk of developing severe complications in pregnancy. The management of these pregnancies is optional, although accurate and great care is required to find early signs of maternal or fetal complications.Hereby we report a case of dizygotic twin pregnancy with a complete ...

Which Is More Prominent in Recurrent Hydatidiform Mole, Ovum or Sperm?

Recurrent hydatidiform mole is defined as episodes of two molar pregnancies in a female. Often, complete moles onlyderive androgenic nuclear genome. We described two cases with repeated molar pregnancies attempted to preventfuture episodes by performing intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)to assess genetic disorders. The first pat...

Complete Hydatidiform Mole Presenting as a Placenta Accreta in a Twin Pregnancy with a Coexisting Normal Fetus: Case Report

A twin pregnancy with a complete hydatidiform mole and a coexisting normal fetus (CHMF) is a rare clinical scenario, and it carries many associated pregnancy and postnatal risks. Limited numbers of case studies exist reporting an outcome of live birth, and only three prior cases report the presentation of a hydatidiform mole as a placenta previa. We report a case of CHMF with the molar componen...
